Getting there
The estate lies near N.K. Protein in Village Thol, in Taluka Kadi of Mehsana district. Access is along the developed route past Arvind Uplands towards Thol. Kadi and Santej are the nearest towns for hospitals, schools and daily markets.
The location works in both directions, which is rare. This corridor has carried Ahmedabad's growth north-west for two decades, so the drive is quick, the road is well kept, and Kadi and Santej cover schools, hospitals and markets nearby. Then you turn off toward Thol and arrive somewhere the city cannot follow: open farmland beside a protected wetland. Connected enough for a Sunday drive out, protected enough that it will still look like this in twenty years.
Thol Lake
A wetland of international importance, ten kilometres away.
Thol Lake was declared a wildlife sanctuary in 1988. On 5 April 2021 it was designated a Ramsar site, site number 2458, placing it on the list of wetlands recognised under the Ramsar Convention as internationally important.
It is a shallow freshwater lake ringed by marshland. Through the winter it fills with migratory birds, flamingos and cranes and pelicans in the thousands, and an early morning on the water is worth the trip on its own. The rest of the year it is simply a very large, very quiet neighbour.
The designation matters for a reason beyond the view. A Ramsar site carries statutory protection and constrains what can be built in its vicinity. The quiet around this land is not a temporary condition of the market. It has a legal floor under it.
